Welcome

We at Arlington Pediatric Therapy (APT) pride ourselves on improving the life of each child that comes to us. We utilize both traditional and innovative therapy methods, as well as a personal care that extends beyond textbook treatments. In addition, we extend our services to the whole family by offering support groups and education to family members.


In order to be easily accessible to families with children with "Special Needs", the majority of APT therapists are Credentialed Early Intervention evaluators and providers with the State of Illinois. APT is also contracted with most major insurance companies and is a provider for the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC).

  • APT Presents Adventure Camp

    • Adventure Camp is an intensive therapy camp for children with hemiplegia. Children will participate in gross motor and fine motor activities with the use of a removable cast on the unaffected arm in order to strengthen the affected (or weaker) arm. Starts July 12th.     • APT is Under Construction. Our interior demolition and reconstruction begins on Monday, November 16th, 2009.
    • !!UPDATE February 10th, 2010!! On Monday, February 8th at 2:00 pm Katie Taheny, a Speech Therapist, had the first treatment session in the new wing.
